ABOUT

Jessie is a theatrical Lighting designer from Hull.

As a designer, Jessie was crafted through years of hands on work as a technician, programmer, associate and re-lighter. It has provided them with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in theatre making and storytelling. Jessie has been professionally designing in and around their technical work since 2018, becoming a full time freelance designer in 2022. They were a Fringe Theatre finalist (2026) and also a graduate of the 2020 ALPD Lumiere scheme.

Their process is driven by collaboration, storytelling, emotion, colour and the vital connection between lighting, sound, set and direction.
